This posting is all about songs that cherish your life so many years ago. I do have the list but as people who know me…I’m kind of Metallica breed…hehehehehe….
All these songs were my favorite during my student years in Kedah and some time after that. It happened when I fell in love with a girl in my final semester. She is a year younger than me and the most beautiful girl in my eyes. But that ‘thing’ never materialized as we were apart since graduation. Huhuhu…You know what I mean. I was craving for her love at that time but I never mentioned to her that I ‘love’ her…..muahahahahahah….Until Mr. Rozi Kanos (not his real name) advised me just to tell her that I like her…at least you know the response. It could be ‘yes’ or ‘no’…..just take the risk.
That was all happened from Nov 2000 to March 2001. Some of the best moments happened in early September 2001 and Dec 2004. Okay….that’s all I can say…Kalau bini aku baca ni…mapuh aku…..muahahahaha…
I believe many of us will relate several beautiful songs to their life or memories. The songs could cherish the moments…ye ke?
I will always be a Metallica ardent fan or ‘muzik keras’ headbanger. At that time, I really hate any sentimental love songs which I felt feminine. Until I met that girl….my life changed a bit….jiwang la plak….

The listed above are some of the songs that bring back a lot of memories of mine. Some the singers also ‘introduced’ by the lady. Don’t get me wrong whenever I mentioned “that girl”…that was history.
But as for me, the most beautiful song ever composed was “My Way” and sang by Frank Sinatra.
I believe many of us here have that very beautiful moments and it is okay to share with others. Trust me, many of us would relate some songs to their life and they have reasons for that.
The songs were good to me once but after all these years, the songs don’t reflect much to me…sikit2 je. Tu pun kalau aku sorang2 kat rumah, bila dengar balik…bait-bait lagu tu….hehehehehe….tu je…lain takde la…..Metallica je…
Now, I’m married to a beautiful lady, petite, humble, sweet…she is everything! Nothing compares…..
I also have beautiful moments with her, much more beautiful moments!
Lama sungguh aku tak meng'update'kan blog aku. Sori la.....bz sangat skang...sejak naik post baru ni....semua naik.....gaji naik....blood pressure pun naik....cuma perut aku je turun sikit.
Begitu lama aku berhibenasi dari menulis di dalam blog ini. Musim sejuk skang ni membuat aku kering sikit idea nak menulis.
Cuma kali ni aku nak bercerita sikit pasal muzik yang aku minat……Heavy/Thrash Metal!
Aku mengenal muzik batu ni sejak aku Tingkatan 1. Band pertama aku dengar ialah Metallica….lagu Fire with Fire. Memang nak pekak telinga aku dengar lagu ni. Ini lah lagu pertama metal yang membuatkan aku jadi minat habis kat Metallica.
Sehingga ke hari ini, dulu aku memang mempunyai koleksi semua album band ni kecuali album Master of Puppets. Tapi banyak hilang…tinggal bekas kaset dengan CD je.
Aku beli jugak album dari band-band lain macam Megadeth, Slayer, Machine Head, dan Sepultura. Semua band ini adalah dari tahun 1980an (Machine bukan ye) di mana masa zaman tu, irama thrash metal pada kemuncaknya. Band-band ni jugak adalah pelopor dalam irama muzik keras hari ini.
Aku kurang minat dengan band-band era 90an kerana aku rasa macam dah tak ‘kick-ass’. Korang jangan cakap yang Linkin Park tu thrash…mereka membawa konsep ‘nu-metal’…sama macam Korn, Limp Bizkit (dah mapuh!), Slipknot dan macam-macam lagi la.
Sehingga kawan-kawan aku masa study dulu kutuk aku…metal konon…..hehehehe. Zaman tu la. Diaorang mana tau apa-apa.
Hari ini, aku masih melayan muzik thrash ni. Tapi paling aku layan Metallica la. Then, Megadeth.
I’m not promoting Metallica but they are the greatest. Thereare 4 bands that called “The Big Four of Thrash Metal Band”…the bands are Metallica, Megadeth, Slayer and Anthrax. But, I don’t like Slayer much as their music style is more to Satanism. Well…that’s my opinion. Each band is different. They are different in everything except their loud and fast music.
My wife can’t understand with my ‘selera’…heeheheh. She is more to sentimental and pop rock….hahahahahah…tidur aku!
Cuma skang ni aku mula berubah citarasa pada irama rock kapak tempatan....mcm Wings dan Search. They are good actually. Real good. I only found it out recently after listening to lots of Wings' and Search's songs. They are more 25 years experience in rock arena in Malaysia. Tak lekang dek panas, tak lapuk dek hujan. Mungkin peredaran masa dan usia menyebabkan aku mendengar lagu-lagu yang agak 'slow'.
Bak kata Mohd Wahidi.....Die! Die! Die!.......rock kental kunun!!!!
